Beautiful, beautiful food. My hubby's family are half Italian and he says that the Cannolis are the best he's ever... tasted. We brought every flavour and agree the lemon is amazing. The service is exceptional. We ordered late on a Sunday evening, and they arrived hand delivered Monday afternoon. Look forward to trying the coffee and cream on my next order. This was our very first order. OMG the Canoli's are absolutely tasty, lovely and fresh. The delivery was personally... delivered and everything was cool and fresh, worth the monies paid for delivery. The driver was very pleasant too. He even called me to say he was on his way and when he got lost as my house is not the easiest to find but I'm sure he will remember next time. when I went to Venice and bought Canoli from the bakery, they were definitely not as good as these. the whole family loved them all. it's a shame they weren't any bigger, yummy! All the flavours were nice as I couldn't decide, so I ordered lemon, pistachio and chocolate, all as beautiful as each other. Great and fast delivery service and really good packaging, to start with. I absolutely loved the Capicollo and the... prosciutto. All the cheese I bought was great too. Really good quality food and great customer service. I personally think the mortadella was not of the same standard as the rest of the cured meat I tried, perhaps because it looses some of its flavours in a vacuumed pack. Not a critic, just my taste. I will definitely shop again, and buy some more Capicollo and definitely try the aragostine and cannoli.read more

Missing my trips to Italy, and running short on Pasta, these people popped up on facebook. Shortly afterwards I had a... delivery of a large box of pasta which we are slowly making our way through. Fast forward a few months, and Affetto Italiano are now expanding their range to include fresh stuff too. And they have cheese. A selection of cheeses. So I try to order on their website. Have a problem. However the chat bot appears to be staffed by a real person rather than an AI bot. And before I know it, I have transferred money across by bank transfer and less than a couple of hour later there is a knock at the door and I have my cheese, some lovely pistachio pastries and a free gift. The only problem is that I desparately want some of their cured meat selection too (too many good experiences of cured meat in Italy), but with a vegetarian wife and a young son not into cured meat yet, there is a little too much for one person to eat alone. Anyone fancy coming round? Summary: Great selection of authentic and tasty Italian food, and in these initial days, stunning customer service. Had our first delivery the other day, and we ordered on short notice. Agostino was able to accommodate... brilliantly. Having lived in Italy for 4 years until very recently, it was fantastic to have some authentic Italian produce and so fresh. The mozzarella and burrata in particular are fantastic, and I cant touch the UK supermarket knock offs which are for sure not authentic. Ieri appena presa ero un po' scettico, come tutti sappiamo chi conosce la mozzarella di bufala sa bene che o è la fine... del mondo o non esistono compromessi. Beh ieri Agostino mi ha ancora una volta sbalordito, eravamo già a conoscenza del fior di latte e della scamorza affumicata, ma la bufala ragazzi e da "orgasmo" uno spettacolo per il palato. Ancora una volta il top. Tutti quelli a tavola hanno apprezzato talmente tanto che dopo 20 sec era tutto finito. Ragazzi, davvero, uno spettacolo.
